Volunteering

Ladner Boys Soccer Club is a volunteer run organization. The club would not be able to operate without the many countless hours our current volunteers put in throughout the course of the season. Beginning this season each family in the club will be required to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours sometime during the season. Volunteer hours will be tracked by each team's manager who will then submit the records to the age group coordinator. If you have more than one child participating in Ladner Boys Soccer you will only be required to perform the minimum 4 hours. Each family will be required to provide a $50 post dated cheque to May 1, 2011 in order to receive their uniforms for the coming season. Cheques will be cashed if the family has not fulfilled their volunteer obligations for the year.

Volunteer duties can consist of the following:

• Club Executive Positions
• Coach and Assistant Coach(s) of teams
• Team Manager
• Field lining and field set up/take down for your team
• Acting as linesperson for your team's games
• Assisting with our annual Labour Day tournament
• Assisting with our annual Fun Day or Delta Cup
• Assisting with a club fundraiser
• Helping the equipment manager at start or end of season
• Team snack coordinator

Club members are encouraged to sign up for volunteer opportunities.
